History of GLBCC
God's Little Blessings Childcare Centre (GLBCC) was founded in March 2010 as the core ministry of The Bridge Foursquare Gospel Church in Regina, SK. Recognizing the need for a non-profit, Christ-centered childcare alternative in the Rosemont neighborhood, Pastor Johanne Spencer and the leadership team of The Bridge Church built the program from the ground up. Working closely with the Ministry of Education of Saskatchewan, the program opened its door to serve the local community by offering subsidized childcare with a focus on Biblical curriculum. Originally named Hot Potatoe Childcare Centre, the program began with 25 spots. In ten years, GLBCC has grown to accommodate 45 children with 6-10 loyal, capable, and credentialed staff members.

After several years of faithful service to the GLBCC community and families, Director Marie Umutoni was promoted to lead the program in the fall of 2019. Under her leadership, the program has grown and supported families while weathering the unprecedented effects of the spread of the novel coronavirus.

GLBCC is serving families from Rosemont and neighbouring districts all across Regina. In addition, GLBCC has students attending Rosemont Elementary, St. Francis Community, and other local schools. Bus transportation to and from school can be arranged with the district.

God's Little Blessings celebrated its 10-year anniversary in March 2020. We are excited to see how the Lord will use us in the future.
